After studying Civil Engineering at the University of New Hampshire, I headed west for a Masters Degree in Project Management at UC Berkeley. Excited to jump start my career, Walsh seemed like the perfect fit – a nation wide company, a diverse book of business, and flexibility for a young engineer who was seeking adventure.

My career started in the Bay Area, transitioned to Los Angeles, and most recently has led back to New England closer to my roots in Vermont. I’ve helped build highways, bridges, railways, flood channels, and worked with people that are always willing to challenge, support and inspire. My love for travel and adventure has magnified with Walsh; affording me the opportunity to work, live and embrace culture across the country!

I am an animal loving, fun at heart, super competitive athlete that also loves building hospitals. I am a Project Manager within the Healthcare Center of Excellence, and I have worked on many multi-phased hospital renovations as well as new construction. I love working at Walsh due to the abundance of like-minded coworkers who enjoy having fun while working hard and also working for a family company who put doing the right thing above the bottom line. Did I mention that there are company softball and basketball leagues??! Having our own softball league and basketball court is also an added bonus for company morale and meeting people in different divisions!

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Civil Engineering and having lived in the Midwest for my entire life, I was eager for a change in scenery. Walsh worked hard to find the best fit for my first assignment, and shortly after I graduated, I took up an estimating and preconstruction position in a growing office in our Southeast region. The team I worked with was incredible – hardworking, passionate, and honest – and they became my work family supporting me in and outside of the office.

Since starting with Walsh, I’ve lived in four different cities, rotating from an Estimator to an Assistant Project Manager, ultimately promoted to a Project Manager before planting my feet in Washington D.C. as the Director of Preconstruction. In every new assignment there was one constant – the passion, enthusiasm, authenticity of my teammates. Every employee I’ve worked with believes in Walsh’s mission, and that as a company, we are building something bigger and better than ourselves.

I now lead our preconstruction efforts and new business acquisition for our Washington D.C. office, pursuing a wide range of projects in sectors including Aviation, Multi-Family, Department of Defense, Civic, and Public Private Partnerships. After 10 years with the company, I still feel as supported and appreciated as my first day as an intern.
